Ronaldo de Assis Moreira was born on 21 March 1980, commonly known as Ronaldinho Gaucho simply Ronaldinho, is a Brazilian former professional football player and current ambassador for FC Barcelona. He played mostly as an attacking midfielder but was also deployed as a winger. Often considered one of the best players of his generation and regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time. Ronaldinho won two FIFA World Player of the year award and a Ballon d'Or ( The Ballon d'Or is an annual football award presented by  French news magazine France Football that is one of the oldest and generally regarded as the most prestigious individual award for football players). A global icon of the sport, he was renowned for his technical skills, creativity, and dribbling ability, as well as his use of tricks, feints( is a player deceiving the opposition into believing he is going to pass, shoot, move, in a certain direction, or receive the ball and instead of doing something entirely different, thus gaining an advantage), overhead kicks, no-look passes and accuracy from free-kicks.

  

At the age of 20, Ronaldinho made his debut for Gremio(Gremo Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, commonly known as Gremio, is a Brazilian professional football club based on Porto Alegre). Then he moved to Paris Saint-Germain(commonly referred to as Paris Saint-Germain or simply PSG, which is a professional football club in Paris, France) in France before signing for Barcelona (commonly referred to as Barcelona and Colloauially are known as Barca, is a Spanish professional football club in Barcelona, Spain) in 2003. In his second season with Barca, he won his first FIFA World Player of the year. Following a second-place La Liga finish to  Real Madrid in the 2006-07 season and an injury-plagued 2007-08 season, Ronaldinho departed to join Milan (Associazione Calcio Milan, commonly known referred to as A.C Milan, is a professional football club in Milan, Italy). Then he returned to Brazil to play for Flamengo (Club de Regatas do Flamengo,  commonly referred to as Flamengo, is a professional football club based in  Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) in 2011 and Atletico Mineiro (Club Atletico Mineiro, commonly known as Atletico Mineiro or Atletico, and colloquially as Galo, is a professional football club based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil). Then he moved to Mexico to play for Queretaro (Queretaro football club is a professional football club based in Queretaro City, Mexico) and then he back to Brazil to play Fluminense(Fluminense football club, simply known as Fluminense, is a Brazilan professional football club) in  2015.

In his international career with Bazil, Ronaldinho earned 97 caps (in sport. a cap is a metaphorical player's appearance in a game at an international level) and scored 33 goals represented his country in two FIFA World Cup. He was an integral part of the 2002 FIFA World Cup-winning team, starring alongside Ronaldo and Rivaldo in an attacking trio, and was named in the FIFA World Cup All-Star team. As captain, he led his team to the 2005 FIFA Confederation Cup title and was named man of the in the final. He also captained the Brazil Olympic to a bronze medal in men's football at the 2008 Summer Olympics. On 16 January 2018, Ronaldinho confirmed his retirement from football. He retired as one of just eight players to have won the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the Ballon d'Or.
